"Set Your Footprint On the Sands of time"

The beauty of evergreen pines,   fresh and glowing through the forest abound,   sweet scent of wild roses,   keep the eagles aground.   She sniffs the air,kisses the trees gently,   drifting through the woods swiftly,   Mother Nature,to hit the hiker subtly,   he's carried off on her wings,   Only to be jerked back,roughly, to reality,   my beautiful princess has been replaced,   and her kingdom engulfed in flames,   she's been stripped of her beauty,   by man in search of a domain.                    -Adejumola Richard Ayodeji                               ©2015
